Bristol Township is hosting a fall clean-up day Saturday.
The free clean up day will allow residents to dispose of household junk, recyclables and electronics at the Municipal Building at 2501 Bath Road from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Township officials call the event the “perfect opportunity to dispose of large, bulky household items that wonโt fit in your trash cart.”
“Crews will be on hand to help residents unload,” said Deputy Township Managerย Scott Swichar, who also isย recyclingย coordinator. “We simply ask that participants provide proof of township residency, such as a driver’sย license, at the time they check in.”
“Certain items such as tires, construction debris (drywall, tile, shingles, bricks, etc.) will not beย accepted at the event. Also, household hazardous waste products such as batteries, motor oil,ย antifreeze, turpentine, furniture stripper, household pesticides, drain and oven cleaners and items likeย swimming pool chemicals will not be accepted at the fall cleanup event either,” a press release from the township said.

In addition, the township will sellย 32-gallon yard waste containers for $2 during the clean-up event.
