Buses Return To Levittown School

The buses are back at the former Benjamin Franklin School in Levittown just in time for summer.

The Bristol Township School District has moved its fleet of vans and transportation provider’s Student Transportation of America (STA) earlier this summer.

Officials said the lease at the transportation center on Green Lane recently was not renewed and the buses were placed at the Levittown school where the transportation department is headquartered.

The eventual goal is for the district to move the buses to the recently closed Clara Barton Elementary School on Green Lane. The district is looking to turn the closed school into a transportation, administration and operations hub.
