An employee at a metal manufacturing facility in Falls Township had his leg injured during a Thursday morning industrial accident.
The employee was working at a facility on Cabot Boulevard when a pile of steel fell over and pinned his leg, Fire Marshal Dippolito said. He added that employees freed the man by the time fire crews arrived at the scene.

The injured man appeared to be in pain and was conscious when taken to the hospital, Dippolito said.
The injured employee’s co-workers used a crane at the facility to remove the steel pinning the worker.
