A 25-year-old Doylestown man who escaped from the mental health unit at Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol Township caused a scene late Thursday morning.
An official told LevittownNow.com the 25 year old was at the hospital along Bath Road for a mental health evaluation when he ran out with security chasing behind him. He ended up darting across Bath Road and ending up near at the dam and spillway at Silver Lake Nature Center.

Hospital staff and a Bucks County Ranger were able to make it down into the spillway after the man fell about 10 feet. He was detained by the county ranger.
The man was not seriously injured and taken back to the hospital.
