Since opening their quick-serve Italian eatery in December of 2014, partners Jim Nasuti and John Marsella have heard countless customers grapple between ordering their cheesesteaks and roast pork sandwiches. Recently the pair decided to combine their slow-roasted roast pork and seared ribeye steak on an Italian roll with sharp provolone to see if they could offer a sandwich that contains “the best of both worlds” for their undecided guests. The result: “unparalleled deliciousness,” quipped Marsella. In celebration of Zio Gio’s newest creation, Nasuti and Marsella will be giving away free 6-inch Roast Pork Cheesesteaks on Wednesday, March 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Zio Gio, located at 3901 Veteran’s Highway in Levittown, PA.

“This sandwich is so good that is sparked the creation of a new segment of our menu that we’re calling Zio’s Duos,” said Nasuti. “We’ve been experimenting with additional ingredient pairings since we created the Roast Pork Cheesesteak a few weeks ago, and we’re excited to announce that we’ll be introducing more innovative ingredient combination sandwiches over the next several weeks. Each new sandwich debut will include a giveaway to allow Levittown foodies the opportunity to be the first to try each creation. Look for the Chick Chick Parm (slow-roasted chicken atop chicken cutlets with mozzarella and red gravy), the Spaghetti & Meatball and other inventive pairings to be introduced over the next several months.
