Driver Plows Into Subway Restaurant

No one was injured Monday evening when a Toyota sedan plowed through the front of a sandwich shop.

Middletown police said the female driver of the sedan pressed the gas by mistake and ended up taking her car through a glass wall and into the dining room of the Subway at the Woodbourne Square Shopping Center at Maple Avenue (Route 213) and Woodbourne Road.

The car was removed from the front of the eatery and the hole was covered up.
