The Levittown-area could wake up to some snow Friday.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly said that rain will begin to fall Thursday evening and transition to snow early Friday. The final snow accumulation could end up being 2 inches, mostly on grassy surfaces.

Forecasters said faster snowfall rates could cause some accumulations on less-traveled roads.

“A sharp cutoff will be present on the western edge of the system. Any changes with the track and intensity could still lead to changes with the forecasted snow amounts,” a statement from the National Weather Service read.

Snow could cause some problems during the morning commute Friday.
