Complaints from neighbors led to the arrests of three people Bristol Borough police say were living in “disgusting” conditions.
Dale Boyer, 54, of Bristol Borough; Michael R. Mason, 23, of Bristol Township; and Matthew Brooks, 26, of Bristol Township, were charged Tuesday afternoon with various drug offenses following a morning warrant execution at a white twin house in the 900 block of Wood Street.

Borough officers found cat feces, garbage and bugs inside the house where five people, including the three charged, were living. Also found inside, suspected baggies of methamphetamine, smoking pipes and a scale, police said.
Sgt. Joe Moors described the three people arrested as “mid-level dealers.” He said neighbors had complained for a while about traffic coming and going from the house.
After a several-months-long investigation led by Officer Elifa Soto, a search warrant was obtained and executed around 7 a.m.

The two other residents – an older man and the girlfriend of one of the male defendants – were not charged with any crimes. Moors said an ambulance was called to examine the older man, who Boyer said she was taking care of.
Police said they called John Miller, who leads Bristol’s License and Inspections Department, to inspect the house after they uncovered the living conditions.

District Judge Frank Peranteau Sr. sent Boyer and Mason to county jail on 10 percent of $40,000 bail, while Brooks was sent to lockup on 10 percent of $25,000 bail.
All three are scheduled to have preliminary hearings on September 9.
