For the second time this week, an alert resident helped Falls Township police make an arrest.
Officers were called around 8:25 p.m. to the 200 block of Thornridge Drive in Levittown for a report of a suspicious person lurking in a backyard. The man reportedly told a resident he was looking for a child.

Police said they arrived and identified the suspicious person as Christopher Baxter, 28, of Levittown. It was determined he was wanted by the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department on a violation of probation warrant.
Baxter was found with a candy bottle with prescription medications in it, police said. Lt. Hank Ward said in an email that police will likely charge Baxter for the illegal prescription medications found on him.
On Baxter’s claim that he was looking for a child: “Officers were not able to validate Baxter’s claim that he was looking for a child, as his only proof was that he heard the voices in his head from approximately 1,000 feet away,” police said.

Since a recent string of burglaries, police have asked the public to keep their eyes open and report and suspicious activity. The request comes as police have assigned special crime suppression details to work in and around Falls’ Levittown section.
On Wednesday, two theft suspects were nabbed after police received a tip from a Thoridge resident.
