Falls Township police are investigating two burglary incidents that happened Wednesday.

Police said there was an attempted burglary between the overnight and 10:30 a.m. on Pleasant Lane in Levittown. The resident reported someone went into their back yard, pulled a screen from a window and tried to make entry. However, no entry was gained to the home.

A home on Wisteria Lane in Levittown was burglarized between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The resident reported a rear screen from a window was removed but the window was locked. The suspect then was able to knock out the glass panel on a door and gain entry. The home was ransacked, but investigators were still trying to find out if anything was taken, police said.

On Wednesday, police and township officials will hold a town hall meeting next Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the township meeting room at 188 Lincoln Highway in Fairless Hills. The meeting will address concerns and questions arising following a large number of recent burglaries in Levittown.

So far, two people have been arrested and charged with burglaries. Police said Wednesday that they are still investigating if those suspects are involved with other cases.
