According to Brian Andrews, the director of Parks and Recreation for Falls Township, every participant will receive a medal, and random prizes will be given out at the end of the derby.
The derby has been running for at least 20 years. Last year, the event garnered between 100 and 125 participants. “It’s a pretty popular event,” Andrews said.
The derby is free to register for. Participants can register at the Parks and Recreation office at 188 Lincoln Highway, or at Bart’s Tackle Shop in Tullytown, at 460 Lovett Avenue.
