The clerk told officers a male suspect wearing a ski mask robbed him of an iPhone and an unreleased amount of cash. The suspect threatened the clerk and was suspected of having a handgun, according to Lt. Terry Hughes.

The suspect made off on foot and was not caught despite a search that included a police K-9, according to Hughes. LevittownNow.com readers noted a heavy police presence in the nearby Foxwood Manor Apartments in Middletown following the robbery.

The suspect is described by police as a male wearing a ski mask, roughly 6-foot-tall and of medium to heavy build.
