A Bristol Township woman is accused of causing a wild incident early Friday morning that ended with her arrest.
Connie Connor, who turned 60 the previous day, kept driving after state troopers tried to pull over her Chevrolet Blazer with a broken headlight in the area of Veterans Highway (Route 413) and Western Avenue in Bristol Township, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Connor allegedly led law enforcement on a chase that first stopped after a trooper used a PIT maneuver against her car. It was then the 60 year old hit the gas and nearly struck a state trooper trying to confront her, authorities said.
The pursuit continued and Bristol Township police joined in.
A trooper attempted another PIT maneuver, but it failed. The third try was successful and Connor’s vehicle was stopped, state police said.

“I gave Connor verbal commands to exit the vehicle and she refused to comply. I broke her passenger’s side window with my baton, ordered her to exit the vehicle again, and deployed my Taser when she declined to obey,” Trooper Jeffrey Hand wrote in court papers.
Another trooper removed the 60 year old and she allegedly continued to resist.
