Even animals at the Bucks County Women’s Humane Society got Valentine’s Day cards this year.

The third graders at Albert Schweitzer Elementary School in Middletown’s Levittown section began their correspondence with the animals at the Women’s Humane Society in December by writing persuasive letters in regards of the animals. The letters produced by the third graders helped 56 pets get adopted.

The animals, with the help of the staff of the shelter, sent cards back to the students.
