The 17-year-old reportedly stole a vehicle left on to warm up in the 300 block of Penn Street around 6:45 a.m. The resident called police and officers responded to the scene.

About 30 minutes later, patrol officers spotted the vehicle and began a chase. Officers from Bristol Township and Tullytown joined in the pursuit, Bristol Chief Arnold Porter said.

After calling off the chase, police were able to locate the abandoned car in the Harriman section of the borough, Porter said.
