Roadkill Triggered Crash That Hurt 2 People


Pennsylvania State Police say a 33-year-old woman and a 6-year-old boy were injured Thanksgiving afternoon in a crash triggered by a dead animal in the roadway.

The two Trenton residents were traveling as passengers in a Honda CIV driven by a 33-year-old Trenton man when the crash happened Thursday around 2:15 p.m.

State police said they did not know the severity of the injuries.

The driver was traveling southbound on I-95 in Bristol Township when the crash happened. The accident was caused as the driver went to avoid a dead animal in the road, state police said.

The driver lost control and the vehicle hit the guardrail on the right side.
