The one-vehicle accident that shut down State Road in Bristol Township’s Croydon section Tuesday still under investigation, according to officials.

Croydon Fire Chief Tom Tryon said the driver of the vehicle was taken to a local medical facility after the accident.
PECO officials said the downed power line impacted about 40 customers.
PECO crews were on scene shortly after they received a report of the power lines coming down dangerously close to the street, officials said.

The overturned vehicle, according to witnesses who saw it on State Road prior to the accident, told LevittowNow.com that the vehicle was swerving in the southbound lane about a mile before taking out the pole and flipping several times.
Tryon said traffic needed to detoured so PECO crews could finish.
