Ferketich hit a friend with metal pipe before the friend was able to get it away from the 18-year-old Neshaminy High School graduate after a night of drinking.
The victim and his friend left Ferketich’s house and began walking away shortly before 2 a.m. on Friday, June 13. According to police, Ferketich chased the two young men down in his 1990 Ford pickup, drove off Bellevue Avenue and struck Egnak.
At a preliminary hearing, victim Dylan Egnak testified Ferketich struck him in the back with the truck. He added the truck was stopped before it ran him over and then reversed and drove away.
