Late bus runs in the Bristol Township School District resume on Wednesday.
District officials laid out the times for bus at Harry S. Truman High School and the township’s two middle schools. School board members have previously said the restored bus runs will also complete runs from the various private and charter schools where district kids also attend.

Parents and students broke into applause in mid-September when the school board voted to approve the bus runs. Residents became upset before school started when they realize township school students would have to walk home from after school sports and activities. School Board President Angela Nober told LevitownNow.com after the meeting that the district would be “smart” about planning the runs to save on costs. She said an amended agreement with bus contractor Student Transportation of America (STA) and six free buses they already provide the township will help keep costs down. The district needed about two weeks to coordinate the runs, which were originally cut to save money on the district budget. Related:
