Two local residents face charges of possession of firearms while prohibited from possessing firearms after attending a local shooting range for target practice.

Marvin Fletcher and Starkea Carr attended the Ready Aim Fire shooting range on Ellwood Avenue, off of route 13 in Bristol Township, on July 15, according to court documents.

During the visit, the duo rented handguns and purchased paper targets, ammunition, and range time, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Carr and Fletcher rented a Ruger 9mm semi-automatic handgun and a Sigsaur .45 semi-automatic handgun, court documents report.
Almost three weeks passed before the duo returned on August 6 and purchased targets, range time, and ammunition. This time, the pair rented a Smith and Wesson model M&P .40 semi automatic handgun, according to court documents. Both parties were seen possessing and firing the weapon for practice, according to police.

An employee thought that the two were suspicious and called the police after their second visit, authorities told LevittownNow.com.
The police identified the defendants from prior contact and conducted a criminal history check and found that the defendants were guilty of various crimes in the past, according to the probable cause affidavits.

Fletcher was convicted of robbery by force in August if 2011 in New Jersey, while Carr was convicted of a felony in 2007 for drug distribution in New Jersey, according to official documents.
Both defendants face two felony charges of possession of firearms while prohibited and are awaiting preliminary arraignment.
