The Bucks County district justice injured in a what police believe to be a car accident was in stable condition as of Friday afternoon.

According to county officials, Newtown District Judge Donald Nasshorn was listed in stable condition and was not in the ICU. A county courts memo obtained by LevittownNow.com said the judge is at St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown.

“He will need to undergo further testing to determine the scope of the complete diagnosis,” a statement on the judge said.
“At this time, the Judge would like to thank all the well-wishers, but asks that during this difficult time his privacy, and the privacy of his family, be respected. When more is learned and understood, Judge Nasshorn will put out a statement; until that time, no other statement will be available,” the statement continued.
Northampton Police Chief Michael Clark said the judge walked into the police station in Richboro in a confused state Thursday afternoon. His damaged car was outside.

“We called for a rescue squad because he was confused and no idea of where he was or how he got here,” Clark told LevittownNow.com.
As of Friday, police were still investigating to try to figure out what happened and how the judge’s car was damaged.
Nasshorn was listed in critical condition when he was admitted to the hospital Thursday afternoon.
