Detective Patrick Nicastro said the victim went to grab a lighter when the black male who asked for it pulled a folding knife. The suspect told the man to turn over his keys and made off with the 2013 black Chevrolet Malibu.
After a call to his father, the man went into the Firestone and dialed 9-1-1, the detective said.
“He was pretty shook up,” Nicastro said of the victim.
