Keiper – who wore several hoodies and was believed to be a female by TD Bank staff – gathered over $2,700 from the teller and got away, according to court papers.
Bensalem police responded to the bank and were alerted a GPS tracker was with the money. The GPS device “was emitting a precise location at which time Bensalem police patrol officers responded to that location,” court papers filed by detectives read.
A Bensalem officer spotted a vehicle in the area the GPS tracker last sent a signal and Keiper was taken from the vehicle, police said. As the 29-year-old was taken from the car, “several individually wrapped bundles of money fell out of the subject’s jacket, court papers say.
