Driver Dead Following Sunday Morning Crash

Police in Bristol Township say a two-vehicle crash on Green Lane Sunday morning claimed the life of one person.

Sgt. Chuck Burns confirmed the driver of a blue Chevrolet Malibu suffered fatal injuries.

The Malibu was traveling north on Green Lane and the other involved vehicle, a Chevrolet utility truck, was heading south on Green Lane when the crash happened around 6:45 a.m., according to police. The wreck happened outside the AirGas facility and Fleetwing Drive.

The driver of the truck was critically injured, police said.

What caused the vehicles to crash was not available as of press time.

Firefighters from the Edgely Fire Company, Levittown Fire Company No. 2 and Third District Fire Company all worked to free the two people from their vehicles.

Bristol Township Fire Police, the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad and Bucks County Rescue Squad were also at the scene.
