The students made bears and sent them to children in Haitian orphanages, according to the Neshaminy School District. Along with the bears, the third graders wrote letters to travel along with the bears to connect with their new friends in Haiti.

The bears will be donated to the children in Haiti through Hope Alive! Clinic Ministry, which will make the delivery this summer.

Bailey and Emily Cutrin and Frank and Leslee Jacobs, the founders of Hope Alive! Clinic Ministry, met with the kids to help them understand more about the children’s lifestyle.

The students got help from teachers Mrs. McGinty, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Millevoi and Ms. Shellenberger.
