Dorrette McCray allegedly discovered a new use and for a steak knife Saturday morning.
She stabbed her boyfriend in an apartment at the Racquet Club Apartments in Middletown, according to court documents, during a dispute with him.

McCray, 49, was arguing with the victim, Middletown police wrote in court paperwork, when her yelling escalated to picking up a steak knife and stabbing the victim in the wrist.
Officer Joseph Cullura wrote in court documents that he observed a three inch wound to the victim’s wrist and arrested McCray on a charge of simple assault and a related summary offense.
McCray was arraigned by Bristol Borough District Court Judge Frank W, Pereanteau Sr. Saturday afternoon. He set bail at 10 percent of $25,000, which she was unable to post.

McCray was sent to Bucks County prison. She is scheduled to appear before District Court Judge John J. Kelly on May 15.
The victim was transported to a local medical facility for treatment of his wound, according to court documents.
