Man Struck by Car Friday Night

Police and medics responded to the Walmart parking lot Friday night in Tullytown for reports of a struck pedestrian.

According to police, a woman backing out of a parking spot struck a man in his 40s. The man was behind her car and the accident happened shortly before 7:30 p.m.

The man suffered multiple injuries and was taken to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown. Police said his injuries were non-life-threatening.

Tullytown Chief of Police Daniel Doyle said the female driver is expected to be ticketed on a summary traffic offense.
