Community League of St. Mary Medical Center Presenting Fashion Show

The Community League of St. Mary Medical Center is putting its best foot forward on Thursday, April 3rd, with an inaugural โ€œSpring into Fashionโ€ event. This fun evening takes place at Spring Mill Manor in Ivyland, Pa., and includes dinner and an exciting fashion production. The Endoscopy Center at St. Mary (ECSM) is honored to be this yearโ€™s presenting sponsor.

The first part of the evening features a cocktail hour beginning atย 5 p.m., where clothes from the Community Leagueโ€™s Thrift Shop will be informally modeled. In addition there will be sales by Hi-Ho Silver and gift baskets to try to win. When the clock hitsย 6:30 p.m., the ballroom will open and guests are invited to enjoy a delicious dinner and fashion show. Familiar faces volunteering as models include St. Mary administrators and colleagues. The men from St. Mary include: Greg Wozniak, Dr. Gary Zimmer, Joe Fisher, Jim Gentile, Harry Meyers, and Dr. Baber Ghauri. The St. Mary men wonโ€™t be alone! Professional female models, therapy dogs, and children will also strut their stuff. The men will be wearing clothes from the Menโ€™s and Boyโ€™s Shop in Huntingdon Valley, Pa.; the professional female models will be wearing clothing from Chicoโ€™s in Langhorne, Pa. and Berta Sawyer in Huntingdon Valley, Pa.; the therapy dogs will be sporting clothes from Dogs & Cats Rule in Newtown, Pa; and the children will be wearing clothing from Periwinkle Place in Lahaska, Pa.

Yola Oโ€™Kane, Spring into Fashion chair, says, โ€œItโ€™s not going to be your standard fashion show. Some of the models dance as they head down the runway. Itโ€™s going to be really entertaining!โ€
