Police have recovered a red gas can they believe the two suspects in a Friday morning robbery at the Wells Fargo branch in the 2300 block of East Lincoln Highway used. The evidence was recovered not far from the robbery scene.
The two suspects, both black males in their mid-20s and wearing masks, entered the bank branch around 9:45 a.m. One suspect ordered all customers and employees to the center of the lobby; the other jumped onto the counter and over the top of the glass partition, police said.

One suspect filled a bag he was carrying with cash, police said. The exact amount has not yet been announced.
According to a press release, one subject was armed with a silver handgun and carried a red plastic gas can.
The two suspects fled out of the bank’s front entrance and are currently being sought after last being seen on foot.

Police said one suspect was wearing all dark clothing, and the second was dressed in dark jeans and a purple colored sweatshirt with white lettering across the front. The FBI further said one suspect was about 5-foot-10 and 130 pounds while the other was 6-foot-1 to 6-foot-2 and about 240 pounds. Gloves were also worn by both suspects
