Snow made travel through the Levittown area downright dangerous Monday. Aside from the treacherous roads, power in spots of the area was knocked out during the storm.
Accidents and disabled vehicles caused problems on Route 13 in Falls, Route 1, Oxford Valley Road and just about every other major thoroughfare.

When the rain switched to a heavy, wet snow around 6 a.m., roads quickly became covered. Traffic cameras showed portions of I-95 in Bristol Township entirely covered as a few vehicles traveled past. Bristol-Oxford Valley Road was not reported to be much better.
PennDOT said they had about 400 trucks plowing and salting throughout the five-country region. Local municipalities were also clearing their streets, although it was hard to keep up as the snow fell at more than an inch an hour.
Problems were reported on regional rail and bus services as the snow fell.

PECO reported about 450 customers in the Levittown area without lights around lunchtime. By evening, many of the customers were back on the grid.
The closest snow total recorded by the Nationial Weather Service was 8 inches in Langhorne.

More winter weather is expected to hit the area in the coming days.
