Baby Jesus Stolen from Middletown Lawn on Christmas


While people across the area were celebrating his birth, a baby Jesus statue was stolen from his manger.

The baby Jesus was taken from a manger display on the front lawn of the home on Maple Point Drive, according to Middletown Township police. The display piece was taken between 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve and 6:30 p.m. on Christmas Day. The statue is valued at $350, police said.

The assault of Christmas decorations did not stop there.

Someone cut Christmas lights on a house on Red Rose Way in Levittown between 1:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. on Friday. The damage is valued at $30, police said.

Throughout the holiday season there have been several incidents involving Christmas displays reported to police in the Levittown area.
