Regitko was struck by a green 1997 Ford Explorer driven by a 47-year-old Levittown man on November 29 after dark as he walked along Emilie Road. Nearby residents said they often spotted Regitko walking along the street.

Beer cans that were part of a pack Regitko was carrying at the time when he was struck littered the roadway along side the man’s sneaker and hat, bystanders said.

An obituary said Regitko was born in Westgate-on-Sea, England and arrived in the United State as an infant. He settled in Bristol Township in 1975 and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School a few years later. Regitko previously had worked at the Kmart warehouse in Falls Township and always enjoyed sports.
