
A man wanted in Montgomery County was arrested by police for an alleged assault with a flashlight in Penndel.
According to police, officers were called to the 200 block of Hulmeville Avenue in Penndel for an assault in progress at 1:40 a.m. Monday.

Two people told police that man – later identified as Charles Flack, 35, of Cryodon – arrived at a home and started calling for one of the two, both came outside an engaged in an argument with Flack, according to court documents.
The argument then reportedly lead to Flack striking one of the people in the head with a flashlight. The person struck with the flashlight had a “deep laceration on their head” and was taken to St. Mary Medical Center, according to court paperwork.
When Flack learned 9-1-1 had been called, he fled the scene and headed to his home in Croydon, police said.

Bristol Township officers took him into custody on his porch in Croydon.
Penndel police said they learned Flack was wanted on a warrant for forgery filed by Lower Moreland, Montgomery County.

Flack was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, loitering and prowling at nighttime and two counts of harassment. He was arraigned before Daniel Baranoski and sent to county jail on 10 percent of $35,000 bail.
