Police arresting a man accused of stealing from Walmart found two dangerous knives on him.
Tullytown officers were dispatched to the Levittown Walmart on October 19 just after 2 a.m. for a retail theft. A dispatcher informed police, according court records, that the suspect appeared intoxicated.

Store security and police were able to catch the man – later identified as Michael Farraro, 39, of Levittown – and search him.
Merchandise was found in the Farraro’s pants pockets, underwear and boots, court papers say. Police also reported finding two a “large, throwing-style knife” in his waist band and a “straight blade” concealed in his boot.

According to police, store security spotted Farraro remove the stolen goods from the packaging and then conceal them. Farraro made no attempt to stop at any of the points of exit at the store to pay for the stolen goods, court records say.
Farraro is charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, public drunkenness and two counts of make repairs/sell offensive a weapon. He was charged via mail summons and will have a preliminary hearing in December.
