The investigation into the possible drug lab found in a house in he 9200 block of East Tyburn Road in Falls Township is continuing.
Police Lt. Hank Ward said late Monday night that township detectives are still working the case and are awaiting information from state police on the possible methamphetamine lab found in the house.

Falls investigators and a state police drug team, who wore sealed chemical suits, entered the suspected lab over the weekend and collected possible evidence.
Ward said the investigation came from tips police received as they probed a string of thefts from vehicles, a story that LevittownNow.com broke recently.
Two men have been arrested as part of the investigation and both are a charged with persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms charges. Ward said he could not release whether the two men arrested could face addition charges or whether more arrests are forthcoming.

Donald Barger, 61, and Alan Ferrs, 71, were arrested after police served a search warrant on the house on East Tyburn Road where the methamphetamine lab investigation was centered.
Barger was questioned Friday night by detectives conducting surveillance on the the house, which shares an egress with a towing business, after he went outside to walk his dog, police said. The 61-year-old was allowed to leave.

They also spoke with a tow truck driver at the residence who said he rents a room in the house from Barger. As of Monday night, the tow truck driver had no charges lodged against him, according to court records.
Inside the home, police said they found a Taurus 9mm handgun load with a 15 round magazine on a nightstand in his bedroom. A check of court records revealed Barger had previous felony convictions that barred him from owning firearms.
Police were able to locate Barger a short time later at a trailer in the 7600 block of Hunter Drive in the Morrisville section of the township.

When police arrived at the trailer, they opened an unlocked door and made their presence known. Ferrs greeted them, according to court documents, and said Barger was sleeping in a rear bedroom, where he was arrested.
Ferrs was arrested after a bolt action rifle in a bedroom was discovered, police said. Court documents state that a box of shotgun ammunition was found on a table in the living room.

Court records revealed to authorities that Ferrs, like Barger, was barred from owning firearms due to a previous conviction.
Both men were arraigned Saturday morning before District Judge Daniel Finello and each sent to county prison in lieu of 10 percent of $100,000 bail.

Ward said more information on the investigation is expected to be released in the coming days.
