Middletown Township’s Maple Point Middle School will be hosting the 19th Annual Writing Portfolio arty for House G eighth-graders and their parents on Monday, June 17 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
The event, which will take place in the cafeteria, allows the students to display their portfolios.

Students have been working throughout the fourth marking period on the portfolios, which reflect their growth and improvement as both readers and writers, the Neshaminy School District said in a release. The students’ portfolios include personal artifacts, favorite poetry, reading logs and book reviews.
A host of former teachers, parents and administrators will be reading the commenting on the portfolios. Reader reaction sheets will be collected and become part of the students’ final portfolio.
“English teacher Stacy Flaville-Boop assigned the portfolio project. House G Teachers helping to host the celebration include Marian Reed, Deb Recupido, Dan Winter and Carla Jane Donovan,” the district said.
