Bristol Township police were called to Gamewood Road in Levittown early May 6 for a domestic dispute call.
Police arrived on the scene, where a woman told them her husband had “entered the bedroom and attacked her,” court documents say.

The accused, husband of the woman, Christopher Colon, 33, put his hands around the victim’s neck and choked her, police say.
Authorities on scene observed markings on the women’s neck consistent with someone who forced their hands around her throat, court records show.
The victim also told officers on the scene that Colon grabbed her arms and pinned her down and shoved her into a body length mirror shattering it, with glass falling all around her, police say.

For good measure, while the victim was on the ground, Colon kicker her in the groin also, the women told police.
Colon was taken into custody and processed at police headquarters and brought before District Court Judge Robert Wagner.

He was arraigned on simple assault and harassment charges. Colon is out on bail in lieu of 10 percent of $25,000.
