Just hours after a middle-aged man robbed the Oxford Valley Pharmacy in the Levittown section of the Middletown on Sunday, a man in his 20s with a gun robbed the Dunkin’ Donuts in the 600 block of West Maple Avenue in the Langhorne section of the township, police said.
Store employees told responding officers that a man wearing a black ski mask and carrying a silver handgun in his right hand robbed the store. He was also describe to be a “thin to medium build” white male.

The suspect leaped over the side counter and ordered employees to empty the register and handed them a plastic bag, police said. The man then demanded the employees to open the shop’s safe, but they were unable to access it, according to a press release.
The man then fled out a door on the west side of the building, police said. No injuries were reported.

Officers brought in a trained K-9 dog to try to track the suspect, but came up empty handed, police said.
The panic alarm notified police of the incident at 7:53 p.m.

Investigators are asking persons with information on the armed robbery to call the detective division at 215-750-3845 or county police dispatch at 215-949-1000.
The Dunkin’ Donuts location down Maple Avenue in the 1800 block was burglarized in late January and in November 2012, according to police reports.
