Two Seriously Hurt After Trenton Road Crash

A violent crash Thursday evening led to two people being badly hurt.

The two-vehicle crash happened around 8:15 p.m. on Trenton Road in the area of Canterbury Road in Falls Township’s Fairless Hills section.

A 2021 Ford Mustang was driving southbound on Trenton Road approaching the crest of the hill when it passed another vehicle traveling the same direction. A 2004 Honda Civic traveling northbound on Trenton Road was struck by the Mustang after coming over the crest of the hill, police said. They noted the Civic driver attempted to avoid impacting the passing Mustang.

There is no passing permitted on Trenton Road in the area of the crash.

Both vehicles were badly damaged in the wreck, according to neighbors.

Police said the driver of the Civic had to be extricated by firefighters from the Fairless Hills Fire Company and was transported by ambulance to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township. As of Friday morning, the driver was listed in critical condition.



The driver of the Mustang was transported to St. Mary Medical Center and was listed in serious condition, police said.

Trenton Road was closed in the area for several hours.

Township officers were assisted at the scene by the Bucks County District Attorney Office’s Crash Investigation Unit.
