Several area Pizza Hut locations have closed in recent weeks.

LevittownNow.com readers reported this week that Pizza Hut locations in Falls Township and Middletown have closed. The location on Plaza Boulevard in the Morrisville section of Falls Township closed several weeks ago and the location on Oxford Valley Road in the Fairless Hills section of Falls Township closed this week. The take-out location in the Summit Square Shopping Center in Middletown shut its doors sometime earlier this month.

Pizza Hut’s press office was not immediately available for comment.

The Pizza Hut location in Fairless Hills posted to Facebook on Wednesday that shops in Bucks, Berks, and Philadelphia counties shuttered “temporarily” due to “change of ownership difficulties.” The post states that the Fairless Hills location hopes to reopen in three to six weeks.

The local Pizza Hut locations and others in the region were no longer listed on the company’s website as of Friday afternoon.
