Regular gasoline at a Falls Township station last week was contaminated with diesel fuel, according to tests sent out by Bucks County officials.
The contamination happened at the Shell at the corner of New Falls Road and Hood Boulevard. So far, the four customers who reported problems purchased their fuel between Tuesday and Friday of last week, Mike Bannon, the director of Bucks County’s consumer protection and weights and measures department, told LevittownNow.com.

Shell has been working to fix their problem and make customers whole for any damage that has occurred due to the problem, Bannon said.
Diesel fuel can cause serious problems and expensive repair work on vehicles that run on gasoline.
As of Friday, the regular gasoline showed that 5 percent was contaminated with diesel fuel, Bannon reported.

The Shell station cleared their gasoline tanks and brought in a new shipment of fuel Saturday.
