A man was arrested after he allegedly ran through a Levittown neighborhood in just his socks.
Residents on Idlewild Road called 9-1-1 Thursday night to report that a man was running almost entirely naked through their neighborhood. Upon arrival, a resident told an officer that there appeared to be an altercation in a parked vehicle between two men and they began chasing each other on foot. During the chase, the one man began stripping off his clothing, according to court papers.

After the other man left, the near-naked man kept running through the Indian Creek section and causing alarm, police said.
Police noted they began searching for the near-naked man with residents and apprehended him in the 80 block of Idlewild Road, court papers stated.
A 3-year-old girl and her mother living in a nearby home were alarmed after seeing the near-naked man, who was later identified as Gerald Vincent Salamatin, 24, of Bensalem, police said.

An officer noted in court documents that Salamatin was only wearing socks and had a cell phone with him.
Salamatin was charged with indecent exposure, open lewdness, loitering and prowling at night and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned and sent to Bucks County prison on 10 percent of $5,000 bail.
