On Friday afternoon, the Bucks County coroner identified the woman gunned down by her ex-husband in the parking lot of a Lower Southampton shopping center on Thursday evening.

Violeta Isackov, 45, of Richboro, died from at least one shotgun wound to the torso, Coroner Joseph Campbell said.

According to a friend of the victim, who did not want to be named, Isackov was set to get remarried next Sunday.
One of Isackov’s children wrote the following post on Facebook after her mother’s death:
To the best mom in the whole wide world, This is so weird to me that i even have to write this because i never thought this would happen in a million years. I love you more than anything. You were the strongest, most beautiful, happiest, kindest person anyone could ever know and i think everyone could agree. You’ve taught me so much, whether it was how to do something or simply how to make myself a better person. Your seriously the only person who could make me laugh or smile when i would be in the worst mood. It’s weird how nothing will be the same anymore. But I know you’ll always be here for me and looking over me. You helped me be me and thats the greatest thing i could ask for because now i have a piece of you every where i go and i’ll cherish our amazing memories forever and ever. I always took the small things for granted, like when you woke me up every morning, when you cooked and cleaned for me, etc. This is seriously like a nightmare, and hopefully things will get better soon. There will not be a day where i will not be thinking about you. I cant wait to see you again and give you the biggest huggy and kissy in the world. Autopsies on Isackov and Phillipp are expected to be completed Saturday, Campbell said.

Isackov was gunned down as her 16-year-old sat next to her inside a car just before 6 p.m. on Thursday, police said. The teenage girl suffered a non-life threatening injury to her hand and treated at St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown.
According to authorities, Kenneth Phillipp, 50, of Richboro, pulled up behind her black Nissan, walked up to the driver-side window and opened fire with his shotgun. He then sped off, police officials told reporters, and was killed in a shootout with a police officer on Buck Road in Northampton.

The Buck Road crime scene was filled with police who rushed from around Lower and Central Bucks County to assist Northampton police Thursday.
Despite what Lower Southampton police Chief William Wiegman Jr. and District Attorney David Heckler initially said about Phlillipp serving time in jail, the 50-year-old was placed on probation in late February after an incident where he appeared with a knife at his ex-wife’s home, according to court records.
Photographs exclusive to LevittownNow.com, show Phillipp being taken into custody by Northampton police in 2011. At the time, he was arrested for making threats against a police officer, authorities said.

Authorities have not released a motive for the shooting.
The officer who is believed to have fatally shot Phillipp is on desk duty pending an investigation by county detectives. District Attorney David Heckler said he suspects the officer will be cleared of any wrongdoing.
