Modern Group Draft

A large inventory sale at a Bristol Township business will help clear their warehouse and offer new and used equipment at discounted prices.

Modern Group at 2501 Durham Road will be selling off various types of construction and arborist equipment along with various attachments Friday, September 8 and Saturday, September 9.

Modern Group Director of Marketing Greg Plefka explained that the sale will help make room at their property for millions of dollars worth of new equipment.

The equipment that is being sold off is not in bad shape, but it is either no longer sold by Modern Group or needed as part of their equipment rental business.

“This two-day event is perfect for contractors, construction and tree companies,” Plefka said.

Among the items being sold off are wheel loaders, skid steers, buckets, augers, snow handling equipment, log grapples, chippers, stump grinders, cranes, bucket trucks, scissor lifts and utility, ATV and dump trailers. In addition, several generators are also for sale below cost.

Much of the equipment is being sold at or below cost and is priced to move quickly.

The extra inventory comes as Modern Group has phased out some portions of their business and grown others, including fast-growing forklift and large equipment sales.

Plefka encouraged contractors to bring pickups or larger trucks to haul away their new purchases.

Modern Group is asking that those interested in attending RSVP ahead of time by clicking here.
