Pennsbury High School was targeted by a bomb threat Tuesday night.
It was the second security scare for the campus this month, officials said.

The threat is not believed to be credible, according to Pennsbury School District Superintendent Dr. Thomas Smith.
In a message to the school community, Smith said an individual left a voicemail from a blocked phone number Tuesday evening that stated they intended to “bring a bomb to school” on Wednesday.
Ten minutes later, the same caller left a second message claiming they were “only kidding,” Smith said.

Administrators notified the Falls Township Police Department, which is currently investigating the incident.

Police increased their presence on the high school campus for Wednesday as a precaution.

“As you are aware, we take every threat seriously and investigate each situation thoroughly in partnership with law enforcement,” Smith said.
The previous threat, which impacted multiple schools across the region, was also determined by police to be non-credible. No arrests have been made in connection with last week’s incident.
