Firefighters were dispatched to the garage in the 900 block of Wyoming Avenue around 6:50 p.m.

Croydon Fire Company Chief Tom Tryon said he arrived to find the garage fully involved.

There were people working on equipment in the garage when the fire broke out, but no injuries were reported, Tryon said.

Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito told LevittownNow.com the cause of the blaze is under investigation.

When firefighters arrived to the scene, the fire hydrant closest to the garage was buried in snow and had to be cleared before a hose line could be hooked up, Tryon said.

The chief advised residents to make sure fire hydrants are clear of snow.

Due to icing from water runoff, the Bristol Township Public Works Department responded to salt the roads around the fire scene, Dippolito said.

In addition to crews from Croydon, the Bensalem Township Volunteer, Bristol Consolidated, Edgely, Levittown No. 2, Newportville, and Third District fire companies responded.
