The officer is currently on administrative leave, the Bucks County Courier Times reported.
Steven Jones, Stinson’s attorney, told the Bucks County Courier Times that the charges filed “do not accurately reflect who he is as a person or the important and valuable role he played as a law enforcement officers. He is a good man and nothing contained in the charges changes that.”
Stinson was preliminarily arraigned before District Judge Corryn Kronnagel and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
