A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in “very serious” condition after a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Middletown Township.

Middletown Township police said they responded to the crash at approximately 4 p.m. at the intersection of Langhorne-Newtown Road (Route 413) and Bridgetown Pike.
The wreck involved an SUV and a motorcycle, police said.
According to a preliminary investigation, the motorcycle was traveling northbound through the intersection when the SUV, which was heading southbound on Langhorne-Newtown Road, attempted a left turn onto eastbound Bridgetown Pike.

The motorcyclist was transported to St. Mary Medical Center, police said.
