Police were dispatched to the area of Route 13 South and Lower Morrisville Road at approximately 4:30 p.m. for a report of a crash with an unresponsive driver.
A preliminary investigation, according to police, determined a 31-year-old Levittown man was driving a gray Nissan Altima in the left travel lane of southbound Route 13 when he drifted into the right lane, striking a guardrail. The Altima then veered back into the right lane, colliding with a green Jeep Wrangler driven by a 47-year-old Morrisville woman.
The 31-year-old man was found unresponsive with trauma to his face and head, police said.

Officer Scott Hall extricated the man from the vehicle and initiated CPR, which led to his pulse being regained, police said.
The woman driving the Jeep was uninjured.
Police said they believe the man was under the influence of a controlled substance, which was a contributing factor in the crash.
