The crash occurred around 6 a.m. on Route 1 northbound in the area of Hulmeville Avenue in Langhorne Manor Borough, state police said.
Troopers said a 22-year-old Trevose woman driving a Honda CRV lost control of her vehicle due to the icy conditions and struck a guide rail. The CRV then spun around and collided with a 2008 Honda Accord driven by a 26-year-old Philadelphia man.
A third vehicle, a Honda Civic driven by a 23-year-old Lower Southampton Township man, was unable to stop and struck the CRV, which had initiated the chain-reaction crash, state police said.
